Karen Huala is a Guatemalan illustrator specializing in editorial illustration, postage stamps, book covers, and children's books.

She earned an MFA in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and studied extensively at the Art Students League of New York.

Her professional training also includes diploma programs in Editorial Illustration, Silent Books, and Picture Books from the Faculty of Arts and Design (FAD) and UNAM.

With a passion for visual storytelling, Karen creates illustrations that combine narrative depth, atmosphere, and expressive imagery.

She is currently focused on developing original works as an author and illustrator of children's literature.
